About Quacker Smackers

Established in 2021, Quacker Smackers Outfitters has been serving the Starr County area. Founded by local native Joshua Lopez and run by the elite Quacker Smackers Outfitters guides, you can rest assured you have a team that strives to provide the ultimate hunting and fishing experience.

We specialize in waterfowl hunting in South Texas, and we go wherever you need to go to get on the birds — public land or private. Being mobile and moving around to find the birds is no impediment; we don't lock ourselves to one spot. Our hunts are built to appeal to the common duck hunter, whether you've been doing this for years or you're brand new to it. I want to spread knowledge and learn from others along the way — just an authentic hunting experience.

Hunting is hunting. We don't limit out every time — sometimes we do, sometimes we don't. All of that is part of the experience, the planned and the unplanned. What I'd really emphasize is the relationship between our clients and our crew. We grow a bond.
